CEMA Belt Conveyors for Bulk Materials – 7th edition is a book that provides information on the design of bulk material handling conveyors. The formulas and recommendations in the book are generally very good, however as with most published material there were some errors that made it into print. CEMA published an errata for their book which was last updated in February 2015, however in my work designing conveyors I’ve found additional errors not covered in the errata. These are listed below with some discussion and/or justification for each.
